We're inviting our supporters to strike up a friendship with someone currently incarcerated for cannabis by joining our letter-writing campaign. 

Sending a letter to a cannabis prisoner is easy and fun and reminds our constituents they haven't been forgotten and you're fighting for them. Let them know you are fighting for their freedom.

Kevin Allen is currently serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole after he was convicted in 2014 of selling $20 worth of marijuana. But, a newly-enacted law in Louisiana provides an avenue for Allen to remedy his situation and work with the District Attorney’s office to come to a mutually agreed upon “post-conviction plea agreement.”
